The solution is a workout that regards the human being as such a bonding of body, mind and soul: bodyART™ Training. In the USA (ECA) the bodyART™ concept by Robert Steinbacher has been awarded best training concept in 2005 and 2006.

In bodyART™ Training the human being as a functional unit has top priority. bodyART™ combines training positions and classical breathing techniques to a synergy of physical training and mental relaxation The ultimate aim of bodyART training is to ensure the correct function of the entire human body through functional strength and stabilisation training of the human motion system.

In contrast to classical power training for the singular muscle, the human body as a whole has priority. All exercises and positions train various muscles of the body at once. Many positions in bodyART™ call for an accelerated balance technique. So attention is directed to the center of the body. The benefit is that the awareness of the trainee concentrates on the own body and is not distracted by the surroundings. As a result the breathing operates accurate and therefore oxygen supply for the brain and muscles increases. The resulting higher coordination level of both hemisphere leads through enhanced awareness and aimed breathing technique to relaxation of the body while training.

The principle of Yin and Yang takes the center stage in this relaxation method of training. During training, this means: inhale – exhale, contract – release. All the exercises are affiliated with each other and complete in itself, without beginning and without ending. These repetitive exercises are an essential element of the bodyART™ training principle. Each exercise and each position fit together like pieces of a puzzle and are interconnected. The flow of several trainings positions have a starting point which the trainee returns to at the end of the training session.

The selective choice of exercises and the in itself coordinated exercises and positions break open bad motion habits of the body and in succession influence the posture in a positive way. Through breathing technique and concentration each exercise is carried out consciously in a slow pace, so the body experiences sufficient range to counteract towards negative loads or fast unconscious motions and hereby breaks open old bad motion habits. This forms a bridge to more body consciousness and elevates the energy for everyday life. A higher consciousness appears and opens new free space to physical and mental limits. The inner attitude is mirrored in the exterior and thus the energy that transfers to daily life.
